About our cause
The Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra is the Midland's LGBTQ+ orchestra. BGSO promotes musical talent directly from within the LGBTQ+ community, illuminating the diversity that exists within it to the wider community and beyond. As an LGBTQ+ orchestra we provide a safe ‘non-scene’ environment centred around a shared interest where people can come together to express who they are without any additional pressure or expectations. We welcome all musicians whether they identify as LGBTQ+ or not.
We need your help. Regular donations allow us to plan confidently, and help to ensure we will always be here for present and future LGBTQ+ musicians to flourish in.
Thank you for your support and good luck!
