About our cause
TVPS
Since 1985 Thames Valley Positive Support has worked hard to make a significant difference to people living with HIV across Berkshire and North Hampshire. Our work spans prevention, testing and post-diagnosis support. We provide emotional and practical support and empower our service users to achieve a full and rewarding life and we work hard to rasie awareness and ecuate the widr community to decrease the stigma that sadly still surrounds HIV.
beYOU
beYOU is an LGBTQIA+ group that is run by Thames Valley Positive Support. The group was started last year by a small group of our HIV positive service users from this community. They were all lonely and isolated, there was nowhere in Slough where they could meet others from the LGBTQIA+ community and socialise. Our meet ups have been popular with people from the transgender community, those who are non-binary, those who are exploring their sexuality and those who wish to express themselves in a way that their community doesn’t accept. beYOU is exactly as it sounds, a safe space where people can be themselves without judgement or stigma.
Playing the Rainbow Lottery in support of TVPS is your opportunity to contribute to a great cause, support the LGBTQ+ community, and win!
